You are welcome to take the certification exam. It does not matter whether you have completed the learning modules within the group pace or individually. You can also participate if you have completed your own training.
There are several ways to take the exam.
The first option is to take the exam on-site at the employer's premises. For this purpose, the exam is taken under the supervision of an appointed examiner on a prearranged date and in compliance with hygiene standards. The minimum number of participants is 4.
It is also possible to take the examination in our examination center in Cologne, in compliance with the hygiene rules. Here, too, an examiner supervises the participants.
There is also the option to take the exam online (e.g. from the home office) at the International Software Quality Institute (iSQI) as a so-called FLEX exam. The registration and login data to the exam portal are organized by andagon people GmbH. Every participant needs a PC with camera function for the exam.
The exam consists of 40 multiple-choice questions. If at least 65% of the questions are answered correctly, the exam is passed.
The exam can be taken in German or English. A strong recommendation is to take the exam in the same language as the training and learning materials.
Candidates can choose to take the exam online or in the office. It is possible to create all ISTQB exams at the time of the exam - no matter if CTFL or other certifications. For own certification, certifications or proofs of work are required before the exam.
Duration of the exam: 60 minutes (for non-native speakers +15 minutes)
