aqua 18.2 - Release Notes
While the new world champion in soccer is currently still being determined, with aqua you can already rely on the right solution among the tools for quality assurance. aqua takes another big step forward with version 18.2 and offers its users many new and improved features. In addition to a variety of new permission settings for users, the new design of the execution log page, for example, allows for more overview and better analysis of your test results. Test the new aqua 18.2 now for 30 days free of charge and without obligation! The most important new features in aqua 18.2 at a glance:
[aqua-WebClient] Value-dependent selection fields Selection fields can now be correlated so that the value list of one field adjusts based on the value of another field. This new feature is exclusive to aqua-WebClient and is natively configurable.
[aqua-WebClient] Support for a large number of values in context menus for modification in the element browser. From now on, a smooth flow is guaranteed even with a large number of elements in the element browser. A new dialog for selecting more than 20 values is now displayed.
[aqua-WebClient]: Activity/change history of administrative tasks. With aqua 18.2, you can keep track of which administrative tasks were last performed thanks to a timeline. So that you always have an overview of where an administrative task was executed, the history is divided into "Global" and "Project-related".
[aqua-WebClient] New design of the execution log page More overview and more detailed information: You can now analyze the latest executions of your test cases even easier and faster on our newly designed log page.
[aqua-WebClient]: Open the last execution of a test case within a test scenario Open the last execution of your test case without any detours and view the results on our redesigned log page.
[JIRA Sync]: Leverage JIRA REST Sync Support. Atlassian has been discontinuing the Soap interface for a while now. Now, JIRA Soap Sync is no longer supported either. As a better alternative, use the newer REST Sync.
[JIRA Sync]: Sprint field sync is now supported. Changes in the aqua Sprint Board and Jira Sprint Board can be synchronized automatically. This makes your agile workflows even more efficient. Sprints from JIRA and aqua can thus also be combined.
[All aqua clients] New permission settings for users In aqua 18.2, you have the option of defining the permissions of individual users even more precisely. The following settings are possible from now on: Permission to change multiple items in one step (batch editing). More precise permissions for test execution Completion of test executions Moving of elements Deletion of items (requirements) and attachments (defects) Import / Export Dependencies
[All aqua clients] Show embedded test cases as dependencies. This allows you to see directly where a Test-case is embedded. This is important, for example, if a test case is reused or deleted.
[All aqua clients]: New setting in test scenarios 'Always run' / 'Only run if successful'. In a sequence of test cases in a test scenario, additional test cases are now executable even if previous ones were not successful.
[GDPR]: Deletion of personal data according to new privacy policy Personal data stored in aqua can be removed from aqua servers at any time upon request.
